Amphitheatre
Description
The beautiful underwater landscape of Amphitheatre takes its name from its natural rock formation that resembles an amphitheatre, cut out by the undulating sea currents of two thousand years. Starting with the groups of squid that are sometimes spotted inside the large sandy patch of the bay at the beginning of the dive site, divers will also see bream, cuttlefish, flounders, grouper, moray eels, octopi, trumpet fish, wrasse and the occasional sighing of a turtle.

Amphora Cave
Description
Beginner divers – or the more timid - will enjoy the mostly sandy, flat surface of the site that offers an experience of cave with reef and offers plenty of natural light. There are several caves to explore, including one with an amphorae encrusted roof, and gullies at depths ranging from five to twelve metres.

White Star
Description
The White Star, was a Russian fishing boat in the Black Sea that after refurbishment served as an excursion boat on Cyprus. The vessel sank in 2007 a few miles from Pafos and a winter storm caused the ship’s bow to be scattered like a jigsaw puzzle on the ocean floor. The shallow location offers excellent visibility which combined with the swift descent make this a relaxing dive, also suitable for beginners.

Manijin Island
Description
Manidjin Isle lies opposite the fishing harbour of St. George. A dive taking you to a depth of between 10 and 15 metres and reachable both by land and boat. Vertical cliff faces, large holes spread out across shallow planes, tunnels and openings, a chimney leading all the way back up to the surface and spacious caverns with several entrances and exits make this dive quite unique.

Laboe Shipwreck
Description
Laboe the 21-metre cruise ship built in Germany in 1940 was brought to Cyprus in 2006 in order to be sunk as an artificial reef with the aim of encouraging the increase of marine life to the area. Marine biologists regularly visit the Laboe, in order to monitor the 14 different species of coral found around the wreck.

Vera K Shipwreck
Description
This Lebanese freighter ran aground in shallow water in 1972 and was initially used as target practice by the army. It was later declared a hazard to other ships and blown up in 1974. It now rests in a crater created by the explosion.

Mazaki Island
Description
The islet is one of several in the stunning Akamas peninsula area. Peaking up from the surface, it can be dived around but is subject to harsher weather conditions due to its unique location – 200 metres offshore at the tip of the cape – where the seas crash. As such, it is a site for the more experienced and adventurous diver with stronger currents than other sites in the area, but rewards the braver diver with an abundance of marine life.
